US law firm Campbell, Conroy & O'Neil, P.C., known for working with many high profile Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies in various sectors, issued a press release today about a data breach from a February 2021 ransomware attack.
Campbell, Conroy & O'Neil's current and past clients
include: Home Depot, Ford Motor Company, US Airways, Monsanto Company, Apple Computers, Exxon Mobile, Caterpillar Inc, Marriot International, Anheuser-Busch, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and many, many more.
Forensic investigators were called in and found that "certain individuals' names, dates of birth, driver's license numbers / state identification numbers, financial account information, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, payment card information, medical information, health insurance information, biometric data, and/or online account credentials (i.e. usernames and passwords)."
The FBI was notified and while Campbell, Conroy & O'Neil is offering free credit monitoring for 2 years. Because of the fallout of these attacks, more data breaches are likely to follow.
